On behalf of Local Government Federal Credit Union and Civic Federal Credit Union, we are proud to announce the launch of our charitable entity, Local Foundation of North Carolina. Our philanthropic endeavors will help bridge the gap in the areas of health care, housing, human services and hunger by awarding community grants to local nonprofits with a 501(c)3 status.
The creation of this Foundation is a demonstration of your Credit Unions' core values. The Foundation will be intentional to address some of the vital issues that concern you. Our dedication to North Carolina, its communities and our neighbors is the driving force for the Foundation. We want you to know at the heart of everything we do, it is for you. The Local Foundation believes in the power of neighbors helping neighbors to make North Carolina communities stronger. The partnership to support the Foundation between Local Government Federal Credit Union and Civic Federal Credit Union enhances our mission of improving the lives of our members.
The Foundation amplifies LGFCU and Civic's investment in communities across North Carolina. Our deep commitment to service and collaboration with carefully chosen partners strengthens us all while our shared values build ever-stronger connections for the benefit of North Carolina citizens and nonprofit organizations.
