Local Foundation adds Credit Union member scholarships

 

In partnership with Civic FCU and LGFCU, Local Foundation of North Carolina now administers professional development and student scholarships for members of the Credit Unions.

The Local Foundation Scholarship, formerly known as the LGFCU Scholarship, helps Credit Union members pay for college and trade school expenses. The Foundation will also manage professional development scholarships including the:

• UNC School of Government Scholarship, for members who work in local or municipal government, and
• Administrative Officers Management Program (AOMP) and Law Enforcement Executive Program (LEEP) Scholarships, for members who are North Carolina municipal law enforcement personnel. These professional development scholarship names will remain unchanged.
