Civic Local Foundation creates relief fund to support local government employees affected by Hurricane Helene

Civic Local Foundation has created a relief fund and is accepting donations to help support local government employees affected by Hurricane Helene. The Foundation has partnered with the NC Association of Regional Councils of Governments (NCARCOG) to distribute the funds to those in need in the 20 counties affected by the storm.

Justin Hembree, Chair of the NCARCOG, issued an appeal and asked all within the local government space—including community members—to step up and support the very community heroes who find themselves in need at this time.

Your donations go directly to those in need

100% of donations made through the Civic Local Foundation goes to relief efforts for local government employees and is tax-deductible for donors. Administrative costs to distribute these donations are covered by Civic and LGFCU, with NCARCOG distributing the funds.
